Save teeth whenever possible. Remove when necessary. Rebuild intelligently.

Modern surgical dentistry is not just about removing a tooth — it is about protecting comfort, preserving bone, and planning for the healthiest long-term outcome.

First
Save teeth whenever reasonably possible
When necessary
Remove teeth with poor prognosis
Always
Rebuild intelligently with a long-term plan
Gentle surgical technique
Bone grafting available
Implant planning included
Specialist referral when needed
When an extraction may be needed

Preserving natural teeth is always our first priority.

Although saving teeth is our preference, there are times when removal is the most predictable or healthiest option. Every recommendation is based on diagnosis, prognosis, and your long-term interests.

Severe decay beyond predictable repair
Vertical fracture or split tooth
Advanced infection or abscess
Severe periodontal bone loss
Non-restorable broken teeth
Impacted or problematic wisdom teeth
Failed prior dental treatment
Teeth compromising orthodontic or restorative plans
Comfortable, modern surgical care

Our goal is to make this as straightforward as possible.

Profound local anesthesia
Clear explanations before treatment
Gentle surgical technique
Efficient appointments
Detailed post-operative instructions
Follow-up support during healing
Surgical extractions
Some teeth require more than simple removal. We provide surgical management for broken teeth at the gumline, fractured roots, difficult root anatomy, retained root tips, and teeth requiring sectioning. When a case is better served by a specialist, we will guide you honestly.
Think beyond today

Preserving bone. Planning the rebuild.

Bone Grafting & Ridge Preservation
After a tooth is removed, the surrounding bone naturally begins to shrink. Preserving the site at the time of extraction can be beneficial for long-term outcomes.
Supports future dental implants
Better esthetics and ridge contour
Stronger restorative options later
Reduces collapse of extraction site
Implant Planning After Extraction
Removing a tooth without a plan can create future limitations. We prefer to think ahead and build your replacement strategy from day one.
Immediate implant candidacy when appropriate
Delayed placement after healing when needed
Temporary replacement options during healing
Comprehensive restorative sequencing
Full Mouth & Complex Cases
For patients with multiple failing teeth, wear, infection, or breakdown, surgery may be one phase of a larger reconstruction plan.
Orthodontics
Implants
Bite rehabilitation
Cosmetic dentistry
Full-mouth restorative care
Our philosophy

Evidence-based decisions. Long-term strategy.

We do not believe in overtreatment or unnecessary extractions. We also do not believe in delaying the inevitable when a tooth has poor prognosis.

Our role is to help you make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions with clear expectations and a long-term strategy — not just to complete a procedure and send you home.

We can help you figure out the right path.

If you have a broken tooth, swelling, infection, or a tooth you have been told may need removal, we can evaluate your options and discuss whether the tooth can be saved — or whether removal and rebuilding is the better path.
